Beyond Hold'em is a poker training app made by Beyond Holdem, Inc. It teaches the rules and strategy of poker variants through lessons, drills, and practice hands against a computer opponent. It involves no real-money wagering: nothing can be deposited, won, or cashed out, and virtual points (XP, streaks, badges) have no monetary value.
Accounts are free. You're responsible for the email address you register; we're responsible for keeping your synced progress reasonably safe. You can delete your account at any time in the app, which permanently removes your synced data.
Poker involves skill and chance. Our coaching reflects generally sound strategy for the situations it covers, but we make no promises about your results in real games, and nothing in the app is financial advice.
Learning is free: the intro lessons in all six games, unlimited coached Razz hands, and a few practice drills every day. All Access is the paid part. It unlocks coached play in every game, the full-table courses, the tools, and unlimited drills.
You buy All Access as a pass for 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year. You pay once. Nothing renews and we will never charge you again unless you choose to buy again.
If All Access isn't for you, email support@beyondholdem.com within 7 days of buying and we'll refund it in full. A refunded pass ends right away. After 7 days, passes aren't refundable, but if something went wrong, tell us and we'll look at it.
Some players bought a monthly or yearly subscription before we switched to passes. Yours keeps renewing until you cancel it. You can cancel any time under Membership → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep All Access until the end of the period you already paid for. Games you bought individually stay yours.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. If you paid through an app store, that store's own billing and refund rules apply.
The app, its content, characters, and branding belong to Beyond Holdem, Inc. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the app; we retain everything else.
The app is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beyond Holdem, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be noted in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
